N257 Band covers 26.5 to 29.5 GHz for Japan, North America, and South Korea. The 28 GHz band remains the world’s most tested 5G band. Development of the 28 GHz band is ongoing and is headed up by 3GPP TR 38.815. Like all mmWave bands, n257 is a capacity layer designed for short range transmission with high data rates possible.
