The Q-Band has a range from 33 GHz to 50 GHz
The Q-band is used for a wide range of applications including satellite communications, terrestrial microwave communications, radio astronomy studies and automotive radars.
Since the frequency range of the Q-Band is higher than the Ka-Band, applications using this band can be designed to have a higher thruput and smaller component sizes.
